Thought #1: The amount of adrenaline junkies in modern anime is getting on my nerves. First Scryed, now this.
Thought #2: Very colorful characters, and surprisingly, no long-lasting honest-to-god villains at all. Quite a few people who swing both ways, a lot who keep swinging, but no definite long-term evil. This is refreshing in a way.
Thought #3: The idea of mixing reality and virtual reality in an effort to create an experimental hostile society is interesting, but is too wonky and inconsistently implemented, which is a crying shame.
Thought #4: 25000 people cannot survive in a single building, even that big, without constant food import, electricity, water and plumbing. Such a drain on city’s infrastructure could never be forgotten. But according to the series, it was.
Thought #5: Characters surpassing their limits all the time doesn’t look very realistic. I mean, come on…
Thought #6: If it were not for adrenaline junkies, animes would be shorter and better.
Final word: Watch if you get a chance. But keep only if you really like it.
