Nothing makes you feel you live in the future like when you telnet into your handheld computer over wireless and then compile things right on it. Things written for computers at least three times as large — usually, ten or twenty.

Yes, I finally got my Zaurus. (Not from a place I originally expected it from, yet again I got the last unit available, and that was a little adventure in itself…) I can clearly see why Sharp’s pulling out of US sales. Most Americans can’t even begin to imagine using a machine that lets them do SO much with it’s inhards. They wouldn’t know where to start. If there ever were a hacker’s handheld, it’s this one.

I might have to make my own serial cable for it, but I guess I’ll just have to be crafty. :)

Remember, I gave you a link to that e-book where Zaurus is used as a hacker’s tool. :)

Congrats, although I am one of the clueless people who don’t quite now what I am congratulating you about. Enjoy your Zaurus in any case. Also, please don’t turn into a malicious hacker, but into a benevolent one

It’s a common misconception to think I’m good or otherwise benevolent. :)

well, I can still plead with you to be benevolent, can’t I? ^^. What you do with my plea is your own business ;)
